Store Template v2 Bot

How to Install

Pterodactyl Install
If you plan on install Store Template v2 on Pterodactyl (whether that be through a host that supports it or from your owner panel), the process to actually install the bot is extremely simple.

  1. Make sure that you have either created a server or you have been provisioned a server by your hosting provider.
  2. Upload the bot into your server container.
  3. Edit the config.py.
    • Change the token to be the token of your Discord bot.
    • Change the guild to be the ID of your Discord guild.
    • Change the domain to be the domain of your Store Template v2 install.
    • Change the admin_role to be the role ID of the administrator role.
    • Change the log_channel to be the channel ID where you want logs to be sent.
    • Edit the db to contain all of information needed to connect to your Store Template v2 database
  1. Start the container and your bot should work! The bot uses slash commands.


Linux/Windows Install
If you plan on installing the bot on a Windows or Linux installation, this will be a little more difficult (however, not too much).
  1. Make sure that you have Python 3.10 installed on your OS. If you're on Linux, check this link for downloading Python 3.10. If you're on Windows, go here guide.
  2. Make sure to install PyCord. Follow their documentation for installing the development version. This can be done by following their guide here.
  3. After installing PyCord, extract the bot into a folder where you can access it.
  4. After extracting the folder, you need to edit the config.py.
    • Change the token to be the token of your Discord bot.
    • Change the guild to be the ID of your Discord guild.
    • Change the domain to be the domain of your Store Template v2 install.
    • Change the admin_role to be the role ID of the administrator role.
    • Change the log_channel to be the channel ID where you want logs to be sent.
    • Edit the db to contain all of information needed to connect to your Store Template v2 database
  1. After editing the config.py, open up your command prompt and navigate to the folder with the bot inside of it and run the following command: 'pip install -r requirements.txt'.
  2. After running this command, you can start the bot with the following command: 'py main.py'
